Midi files vs Karaoke

Can anyone tell me which software is available for editing Midi files and placing in the lyrics so they can be used as Karaoke files?

you can use most any MIDI software..... noteworthy composer is a freebie...... Cakewalk is the most common of the high end stuff. my experience is that lyrics need to be on track 4, but there are a few throwback players that do something different
