What do you suggest I get for virus protection. I've been looking for something very reliable, that doesn't make those obnoxious noises etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also what about spyware and all of that, it all gives me a headache. :confused2

Comcast has a special deal with McAfee, giving all customers of Comcast Cabel Internet a free subscription to McAfee. I've had no problem with it. Its worth a shot to check it out.

Try AVG it's free and has regular updates.
