Hi,

I just started playing guitar about a few months ago,

I kind of learning from guitar tabs, and figuring out notes on the fretboard from my knowledge of the piano.

I wanted to know what the best way is to learn different strumming techniques. I can finger pick fine, but I need to learn the more rhythmic strumming aspect,

I have this problem alot too, I find that it helps to just pick some basic chords (E, Bminor, A, D, and G) and make up your own little riff/riffs...after a while you will start having some decent patterns in which you can apply to many song that are out there....Hope this helps...
