just the shells were $900. The cymbals are a customs and I have new beat 14's and mastersound 13 hats also. Haven't added anything to the kit in a while.

Here's my cheap-as-chips kit. It started as a black 5 piece Dixon with 2 cymbals + hi-hat. I recovered it to blue and added more toms and more cymbals. I need to replace some hardware. With decent Remo heads it punches out a good sound....;)

I don't play drums, but the drummer in my band has a tama kit, the one with 2 bass drums and the pole thing with cowbells, about £2000 worth, only problem is he can't fit in fills (they last longer than the song lol)

my own personal kit is an alesis sr 16 (I'm gonna get hate mail for telling all you drummers this lol)
