MIDI question

i've collected various MIDI files from the net to use as ring tones for my sanyo 5150... however when i upload them to my phone, they don't seem to be as loud as they should be. i'm using cakewalk to edit the files, i just need to bump the volume so my ringtones will be a bit louder... should i get some different software to do this or am i just missing something obvious in cakewalk? thanks

Sounds like you need to do a couple of things ...

One increase the volume ... if that does not do it ...
Two increase the velocity of the notes ...

Cakewalk will do both ..

whoa...this is so cool! r u saying that u can use midi files as ringtones? damn...some1 wanna fill me in? do u need a particular fone? ya...i'm kinda outta da loop wen it comes 2 technology...hehehe :P

which phone are you using that allows you to import midi? is it only monophonic?
