U2 - the Edge

Does anyone know what, if any, effects the edge uses to get that U2 sound? I believe he plays a fernandez electric but I tried some and the don't have that resonating sound.

Yeah...you can hear it in tracks like 'Where the streets have no name" and 'Bad'

the edge uses different guitars, like fender strat, gibson les paul...
same with effects, tons of gear...
check out lovetone pedals, edge uses them a lot...
