Any programme change the style of your midi file??

Can anyone tell me if there is a programme that changes the style of a midi file?
I.E. if I have a midi file that is, say, blues can I change it to a disco beat without completely redoing it??
I have ,and use, Cakewalk but friends tell me Cubase can do this. I also have an old version of Cubase but don't really understand how it works??
