New to midi

Just got a new PC with a SB Live and want to get into midi...

Which is the easiest package to get to grips with?

I use Cakewalk Pro 9 and Sonar - very easy.

I use Cakewalk express and finale. Cakewalk is the best program I have seen for midi files.

You want to pick package that displays the information as "visually" as possible. I like SONAR XL, but it is kind of pricey for starting out. You can get PowerTraks it is easy to use. and costs under $50.
