do they tune thier guitars down to eflat an drop the low E?

Don't double post -
They tune a half step down and drop D tune.
Most of the stuff I've heard by them is tuned this way.

Have Battled to work out chords. The drop D tune seems correct

Guitar One has this tab and shows 1/s step down & drop D. However, I play this tune live without the drop D. Just effects the Eb so i play that in the 6th position.
