Just curious to know how many members actually play live gigs and where...clubs ?...pubs / bars ??

I play in a 2-piece (2 guitars) around Dublin. We use the midi-files as backing tracks to enhance the sound....i've got some nice stuff from Midibuddy members and also donated some pretty decent ones too !!

i have a duo. guitar and voice. i use a classical guitar with built in pickups. we usually gig around here in the Philippines. great way to earn a living.....well for a time.

well would havein my own room in paltalk be a live gig couse thats what i do now that i dont do live gigs, get ppl to sing as well. but i still do live family get togethers. but hey love it when i drank could go to the bar and drink free doin karake all night lol

and....ummm......I am a ....Musician.....

It all started so inocently.......just sitting @ home playing keys and guitars.......then someone said..."hey we are putting a band together"....

So it began...frst it was just at the the rehersal studio's ...then it became 1 gig a week...then 2.....and it sbowballed from there...
Before I knew it...I was "gigging" 6 nights a week and I didn't have the strength to say No....

I becam a gig ****.........On my night off I would go and play in other peoples bands ::AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH::


I am so glad to have gotten that off my chest.

I too was a "gig ****" untill (bawl bawl) I lost my voice
Now I just sit next to my gear and stroke it tenderly hoping that I will be able to play again:sad: :sad: :sad: :sad: :sad: :sad:

Yeah...after a while it gets harder and harder to turn down gigs, even on a freezing cold monday night when you normally couldn't be arsed...lol

Western Australia, approx 4 gigs per week, all midi. Two good lookin' birds and a few guitar licks and it's a living.
