Bands with same-sounding songs.

There's some bands with songs that sound the same. But, some are fantastic (Daft Punk) and some are just rubbish (Vengaboys). You could say that Daft Punk had a "signature sound", so even if you were hearing the song for the first time you could instantly tell it was Daft Punk. And, you could say Vengaboys were repetative and lacked ideas.

Can anyone think of any more examples of bands, both good and bad? :p

Remember AC/DC? AC/DC used similar chord progressions in each of their songs. Hence the common adage, "If it's not broke, don't fix it."

Otown and Backstreet Boys. They have the same begininng chord. "All or Nothing" and "Drowning"
