I kind of started awhile ago but I want to really start playing. I can play tab and I usualy play Punk but I sometimes play classic Rock with some Santana. Any tips like what to do or what setingings should I have. BTW, I have this synthesiser with a pedal which can do some cool stuff like digital delay,Reverb and some other cool stuff. Hope to be playing better soon.

I really don't know what you're asking but I would say that instead of tab you should actually LISTEN to the song. No one ever gets anywhere with a tab book m8.

It's a cliche, I know, but practise, practise, practise. Put the hours in and just try and play as many different songs as you can.

Try and get tab from the Internet to learn, rather than from books. It is very seldom 100% accurate and if you listen to the song you can work out the rest of the tab by yourself. This will train your ear, and will benefit you a lot more in the long run, rather than just learning tab parrot fashion.
