Getting MB to go faster.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make MB run Faster. It feels like its the slowest page on the web some days, probably through heavy traffic.

I've already taken off the sigs and avatars to reduce the amount needed to download.

The easy solution is to go Broadband, but in Rural Australia that is easier said than done.

My firewall at work seems to slow down the MB tremendously, but I think I'll just have to suffer with it. I'd hate to have to justify the amount of time I spend viewing it.... :o

yeah, the firewall at work seems to slow it down to a crawl (I thought I was back on dial up) but when I'm at home on DSL it flies, even with the 2 firewalls I have setup at home. (never can be too careful)

It's always slow for me..... I tend to find myself editing a MIDI here, playing a game of cribbage there and browsing MB in yet another window....... but then again, dial-up is my only real choice :(

Pleased to hear that I'm not alone. I've thought about turning graphics off but that would defeat the purpose.

I guess this happens though with popular sights.
