i like snow cuz its so uhhhhhhhhh...... snowy. its also fun to play in. and the best part is not having any school. did i mention that snow was snowy?

I think I saw something called snow back in '73 or '74, can't remember.... ;)

My story is that it's rained a helluva lot in the last month, and I don't know how much longer I can abide the mud in the yard (not that I have any choice in the matter). :)

I love snow, one Christmas morning I woke up to a bear tree, no gifts, no turkey, no Santa, but I was sent a gift. It was snow…….what was really important about this snow was that I asked for it. I use to eat the snow back in the 60’s, but now it’s polluted with crude oil byproducts, soot and god know what else. All that garbage goes into the ground and pollutes my garden, my dog, my kids and me. Yes I love snow because I received it as a gift. Only now it has been distorted by all of us because we have to live in a world that is dependant on the comforts of living. The choices are hard to choose from, to live in a comfortable world full of pollution, or a harsh world that is clean. Did you know that scientist check the snow at the south pole and count the penguins to see if were going to live another year on this planet? Snow use to be made of water, but now it’s like cement. If you eat it you’ll more than likely die from it. What a shame. Any one what to start a save the snow campaign…… I didn’t think so. :cool:

its also funny when it snows around here, cuz we only get like less than an inch and everything shuts down. schools, businesses, churches, are all closed. its alittle sad cuz we have to make up for dayz we miss.

He's most definitely North of me...... I've lived in this state all most of my life and have always held the attitude 'rather than complaining about the weather - MOVE SOUTH'..... Since I'm still here I don't complain :) ...<begin rant here>.. but TODAY I make an exception...... Its MARCH..... and it was -9F IN THE SUN this morning...... that's just WRONG! <end rant now>

I was wrong. When I went out to the car at 5:30pm, it was 86F. 'Course, when we went for a walk at around 6:30, it was down to 63 or so (got chilly quick after sundown).

I feel so inadequate, I've never seen snow. Or tasted it. I've seen my fill of mud, but the snowman sucked. The carot nose slowly sagged from the face. I had to find white eyes instead of black. And when it got hot, my mud snowman didn't melt......it set........my neighbour has a restraining order out on me.

... one problem ... where I live snow is rare, we have cold and we have wet .. a lot of wet .. I would rather have snow anyday than rain, rain, sleet, hail, rain and more rain.

We got some of said snow this week..... yeahhhh - that's pretty early! Walked out of the house 20 minutes after walking into it to find about 1/4 inch on the deck and car.... wow..... sobering at very least!

Yeesh, snow in October must be nice. :) Don't know if I'd trade for it though if I had to take all the blizzardy stuff in Jan and Feb also... :)

I know some kids who thought that Snow wasn't real. They've grown up believing that since Santa isn't real, the snow you see on Amercan TV shows during their christmas specials mustn't be real either.

I don't know how the winter olympics works then!

Nahhhhhh - that's what snow looks like - I'll vouch for it.... you wake up in the morning and the world looks too perfect to touch..... then you see your boots in the corner and remember the sled you stowed away in the garage and WHOOM that 'too-perfect' thought is OUTTA THERE! :laugh: a few hours later you're peeling cold, wet undies off of numb skin and wondering how you did this when you were a kid.... yeahhhhhhh.... I like snow :)

I like snow. But in NL it isn't fun. We don't get snow in december but on the weirdest moments like in October and in February :( so we do not have a white christmas often...
