you will see what i mean. It's mostly the rock tune i can not get. i seem to s$%^ it up very time. Is there a count, like 1234 and hit on 2 and 4 or what , for rock that is.

oh, u meant SEQUENCING drums, I thought u meant actually playing real drums

um, which one is the rock tune, theres so many.

ok, try kick drum on counts 1 and 3 and snare on counts 2 and 4 and hihat on every count

thats about as basic as it gets

yup....when you get that rythum (however you spell it :S) down...you can start varieing and end up playing some pretty neat tunes, just mind that you stay in your count and don't start rushing

yea do wut the other guy said. hi hat on 1 2 3 4 and snare on 2 and 4. bass on 1 and 3. or make the hi hat eighth notes (im not sure if u know wut those are, cuz u might not be traditionally trained.) basicly, eigth notes are twice as fast as quarter notes. so hit the hi hat 8 times in 4 counts.

Put up some led zeppelin, ac/dc, ... all the old ones. They use the basic rock beats, where all the ones we use now come from. If u want to have tabs, go and check mxtabs.net
