Hrmmm as myself being a drummer i dont like the drums that much you could add a cooler beat when the melody begins, like a some 16th or 8th notes on the high hat with some bass and snare hits and some dotted beats so its like dum-rest-da dum
drums do sound better at 2:15 though. nice song :)

This is very chilled out and the drums are really good and different, appropriate to the music. Adding hi hats etc just for the sake of it would spoil it. Over production often kills good songs.
