Know of any other program smaller that can crop just a section?..no editing needed here, I just want to snip out a chorus and save that as a seperate midi. :)

rabe: I thought v9 did work w/ XP... Maybe 9.03 will.

Darkflame: dunno - I don't usually work with MIDIs that way...
I would like to know if there is a way though, because I chopped the chorus out of Hero (Chad Kroeger) for §ereņa, and it took me forever to edit (every single ****ing) track before and after the chorus...?

davenn: I would probably agree... I've been using Cakewalk Pro for awhile now, and I do like it a lot. I also use Sonar (great stuff).
I also have Reason, Finale and about a half dozen others that I have (honestly) not given a fair shake to... Some day I will, and I'll repost my opinions again ;)

rabe: I use sonar with WinXP - sonar is pretty much cakewalk's new name.

Sonar 2 is the newest with all the newest changes -the name change did cause us to wonder when ver 10 was to be released...
