Avril is a spunky young canadian skater punk chic, She is kind of a tom boy , but has typical star/model looks. She has a great album 'Let Go' and the single- 'complicated' is awesome. i would also like to get a copy of this file if anybody has it.

I have started to sequence the song myself on my keyboard. I also couldn't find it anywhere..When I am done I will save it as a midi file.Maybe someone will beat me at it!!!

I think they do have a file of complicated to download, check in new songs. I agree I like her music she is original and is not affraid to be herself, and look she got a vma award:p . Yeah rock on Avril Lavigne:thumbsup:

I like Avril Lavigne. I have her CD and all the songs are pretty good. I LOVE her name! Avril is such a great name (it's French for April) and her last name is absolutely unpronounceable. Oh well!

she is a disease of the masses. she breaks this gibson. it's horrible i hate it. given, it's only a les paul special. but still. she broke a multi thousand dollar guitar. that's horrible. she probably doesn't even know how to play.

i really don't like Avril. I think she is fake punk. It seems to me like she was created and isn't herself when she is all 'punky' same goes for her music. It's not real, it's just all fake and manufactured to me. but that's just my opinion.

Thank you! I completely agree with you Schizophonic! She's definitely created by the label execs. Think about it-- they get her to play the guitar for one or two songs in the concert, give her some songwriting credit, and they have them a pop star disguised as a rocker chick! Smart, aren't they?

Of course! 'Everyone's' into rock these days so why not cross pop and rock with a nice looking girl and hey presto! A #1 best selling combination :)

But ah well, it works and she sounds ok so I cant complain...much

Hi, my firend Aimee loves Avril. She has been raving for months re: this artist.

I've already put a post on her other thread.....but i luv her that much that she deserves another one!
I first bought her single for 'complicated' and quickly had the other 2 songs 'I Don't Give' and 'Why' stuck in my head.....was impressed so bought the album 'Let Go' - it's great - for someone so young she has a wide range eg: punky 'sk8r boi' to the slower voice focused 'I'm with You'. Its also good to see a young fresh star who isn't parading 'round in bugger all like Britney, Holly V etc....she seems very comfortable with herself and her style - Go the Tomboys! haha

And she's coming to Brisbane next month!! - I'll be there!
