Woah.... Thats a hard question
:damn:

Kind of like saying "which is your favourite organ, brain, liver lungs or skin?"

Not much fun to function without either of them.
:nono:

But I'm gonna go with the pretty one......Ringo.

Lennon, he wrote the best music of the four, after the band split up.

Can't pick a favorite. Cause, being an old timer, I believe, together they "Were". And apart, they "Were Not". If you forced the issue on me. I'd finally crack and say Paul. Must have something to do with me being a left handed bass player.

It is an interesting question, but I think Lennon and McCartney were both fantastic and there was a lot of artistic tension between them, they constantly tried to out do one another. I think as a muso, you would have to say that Paul was pretty incredible, as a politician John was great. George Martin was also a huge factor in their music i think a lot of people tend to over look this.

Either Lennon or Mccartney but you need Harrison and Star to make the fab four

redcabbage, we're all entitled to our opinion, but that's just stupid

Its easy to sit back and talk trash like that cabbage. But I bet you couldn't write even 1 song as half as decent as any one of the Beatles numerous hits.

Uhhh...... yeah. Redcabbage is an idiot. Not for the fact that he doesn't appreciate the beatles, but because he decided to "grace" this discussion with his moronic comments. If you don't like a certain band, there's no point in *****ing about them. And I strongly resent the fact that he said they had no talent. The chordal structures of many beatles songs were intense and genius, and definitely not simple to play. And NO ONE harmonizes like the Beatles did. End of story.
That said, I definitely have to vote for Georgie as my fav. Everyone loves Paul and Lennon. No one ever talks about George. He deserves sooo much credit for giving the Beatles the sound they had, and most people don't even know that he was the lead guitarist.

You needed them all to have what they had.I think they would have been completely different if Best had stayed or if Sutcliffe had lived!!!

Hehe. Totally. I'd love to see his reaction if you took away that precious 5th post of his.

I think I should discourage that sort of post. Yeah we're all entitled to an opinion but that's not on in my book. It's gone!!

Lennon and Harrison's writing is the best, with and apart from the Beatles.

....Though I agree, all of them were needed for the Beatles to be what they were! (Awesome)
