I have a gazillion midid files on old disks that I downloaded eons ago back in the days of my Compaq 486. The files play fine in my Yamaha QY300 Sequencer but of course, are not recognized by my new Dell Pentium 4 with Windows XP.
My concern is that midi files I download now don't work in my QY300. Can anyone tell me why? Does it have anything to do with disk compatibility and Windows?

Hi Robono,
I have lots of midi files created on QY300 (I do not have QY300 anymore) I would like to go through these disks and use them on another midi file player. Even better, I would like to view them on my computer, but the file is not recognised. Do you know of a computer program that will read and play QY3 files.
