I'm thinking about building a computer, but I'm not sure what the best kind of sound card is. I need somthing that can make MIDI sound good plus handle notation programs. Thanks.

i don't know what you want to do with your sound card. if your searching for an internal midi controlable sound bank, i should take a soundblaster live platinum.

but if you want to work with external midi devices, i can recomment a terratec EWS64XL with external breakout box. :boink:
