hey peeps.

would any of you guys/gals out there would know if there is such a program that could convert MP3s or WAVE files to midi files asnd actually split the instruments so that it doesnt come out like one big mess when you view the staff? (although it sounds great if you're into avante garde music according to a friend of mine)

anyway, if any of you peeps have anyidea, let me know.

TNX!

I have tried a few Wave/MP3 to midi converteres but they all turn out to be a big mess. The trick is to put the file through an audio editor and then change the settings in graphic equalizer, until you can only hear one instrument then save the file, put it through, do the smae for the others.

Its should be ok. Not perfect but ok!

I never met an "audio to Midi" converter I liked....

Learning to play the song and recording it via midi is faster, especially if you have a GR30/33 for guitar parts.

Keyboards for everything else.
