The Big East has come a long way. Miami leads the way with the likes of Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Syracuse, Boston College and the surprisingly improving Rutgers Scarlet Knights who played Tennesse to the wire.

There's no question the big east is a solid conference, but I'd have to say the Big 12 or SEC are the toughest. Being a Va Tech fan, the new ACC may be the toughest of them all. Sure, there's a few bottom feeders in the program, but VT, FSU, and Miami are powerhouses.
