Wondering what's the best software you can use to scan sheet music to convert into midi with minimal hassle. I have photscore lite but I don't think it's that brilliant. I can't seem to get photoscore pro on the net.

this is what I'd do:
Assuming you have a keyboard w/ midi, midi it to your computer, than play and use a program to capture the midi info. you play, and bam you have a midi file :)

Heyas I work in hitech at a muso store...
Try out Finale's Print Music...
It's a new program but you can scan in direct from the computers scanner into the program and converts to midi instantly...
No Fuss easy to use...

I like MidiScan aka SmartScore. I used it for years before I just learned to play the piano. GIve it a try:

I'm guessing you don't want a heavy-duty solution, but just in case you were looking for one, then check out Neuratron's PhotoScore Professional. I use it with Sibelius 2, and it works like a charm.
You could do worse than to check it out.
