a cappella

does anyone here have any experience with a cappella? I'm in a group and we're just about to buy a ****load of equipment (mics, mixing board,e tc.) and I'd like some recommendations

What are you tryng to do. Don't waste money on equipment that you won't need. To start, get a good mic (AKG C414) is excellent for vocals, a good tube amp is a must and a good mixer (Mackie).
