Y IS it that when i click an attachment on some1s post a new page opens with nothing on it but theres that little shape thing in the top left the green triangle and the red circle and the blue square???:hit:

Right click on the attachment link and select save as. The way the system is configured it won't stream the files.

I don't see how there can be a difference. Does the midi file not play as it's incoming like an avi file does, only allowing the part that has been downloaded to play? I'm thinkin about sharing some of my own midi files out, after seeing all the interest around here, and would love to know. Thanks.

The midi files are stored in a database. They are not files on the server. When an attachment is brought up from the system it is downloaded out of the database as opposed to an individule file off the server. This is the difference.
