does anyone have suggestions for sequencing software. i'm a cakewalk user but am not thrilled with having to buying a full featured sequencer that has hard disk audio recording software built in. i don't need the audio recording software just a full featured stand alone sequencer that syncs to smpte.

If you look around on some of the warez sites you could probably get any software you wanted..I know that the full version of Cubase vst is available...But then that's illegal right???:)

YOUR BEST BET IS EITHER SONAR OR SOUNDFORGE, I HAVE TRIED EM ALL, NONE COME CLOSE TO THE FUNCTIONALITY AND USER FRENDLINESS AS CAKEWALK 9,

i think soundforge is the best for sound edition
and peak vst if you are a mac addict
