How do you upload your midi ringtones files?

This sounds a little advanced coming out of a newbie but I am just a newbie on the forum. I know a little bit about this subject and I am going to tell you. I am not sure that there is a certain way that you can take your phone and just upload ringtones, but the ringtones are actually number sequences. They vary from phone to phone and are different. Say for instance the number 9 on a Nokia phone might be a C Major and on an Ericson, 9 could be a B Flat. You see what I'm saying? So basically you could use some sort of MIDI program, figure out your number sequence for a song, code it to fit in a certain phone, and allow people to download it. Make sense? Hope it helped!!
