In short. yes but the software out there isnt adv anced enough to differenciate between different instruments. (not polyphonic.) so unless your mp3 is of 1 single instrument then it probably wont work #. this is my experience of trying. I know of a couple of mates at college who have tried to do it as a prodject but failed or chose sonething a bit easier.
