I'm a computer guy by profession and it never ceases to amaze me what dumb things we (myself included) do when we write software.
Here is one silly thing I saw on MidiBuddy (and other systems too).
1. The user sends an e-mail message.
2. The system responds with 'The recipient's mailbox is full and so your message cannot be delivered. An e-mail has been by the system informing the recipient of this.'
Question, If the damn system can send another e-mail message into his mailbox, why can't I?????? It's just the same, right?.
Or the Hotmail classic cleanup method.... The mailbox is full, so first it deletes all the messages that you received, leaving all the messages that you sent (containing all the information you generated yourself) in the mailbox. All the info that others sent to you, it deletes. Does this seem logical??? I think not.
Do you know of any software that does stupid things?
If so, share them here.
