i agree hana_dan i made a copy for my car's cd changer and i have it in my portable cd player. If i keep playing it anymore i'll be pretty much sick of it pretty soon.

The Hives "Veni Vidi Vicious" short songs, short album, to the point, some catchy hooks, some boring, great guitar/drum work some annoying "David Lee Roth" type squeals(Not that I don't like DLR, but if you're not him, you can't do it ;)) Overall a solid album!!

kinda off topic but what does everyone think about record labels putting software or programs that cause your computer to crash or not to play the cd. I love to hear your opinons.

My last cd was Shakira's single, underneath your clothes, for $4.95 aussie (that's about $2.50 US i think) I've been wondering if i should get the Silverchair album diorama too.

KingXII, are u talking about those enhanced cds? Cos i haven't had a problem with them yet? :)

Hrm, I just bought my Sweetie a Grass Roots album, 'cause she didn't have any (in CD form anyway). She'll probably listen to it in 7-8 months, since she just now cracked the Steely Dan album I bought her a few months ago. :p

Last thing I think I bought was the Bach Cello Suites played on Double Bass by Edgar Meyer (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00004WK4A), which I love. It's an amazing recording, the man's technique is outstanding. I'd recommend it to double bass enthusiasts (if there are any others :)).

enhanced cds work fine but there are cds on the market that will actually crash your computer in an attempt for you not to play it on your computer or rip the cd.

Just treated myself to a few from HMV's sale today... Robbie Williams - Sing When You're Winning (I have to admit he does knock out some good tunes and it was only £3.99!), Coldplay - Parachutes, and Stereophonics - Word Gets Around (both £5.99)

Before that, the last couple of singles I bought were t.A.T.u. - All The Things She Said and Eminem - Lose Yourself

I download stuff from KaZaA but still end up buying the CD at some point because I like to have an original of everything and also because most people can't rip and encode properly! ...but that's another topic! :)

I just recently bought Linkin Park's Meteora CD and i'm quite impressed, though not as good as Hybrid Theory but certainly a hell of a lot better than ReAnimation. ^^;;
