I also admire ladies who can do the splits. Saw one lady do it just a few days ago on a pub dance floor. Have to admit... It made me whince and cross my legs though.
Lucky she didn't leave a wet spot... sorry, just thinking of some comments in the "Love is..' thread.

gandalf, us wizards truly do think along the same lines. My wife(looks over shoulder) can do the splits sideways, she was showing my brother-in-laws's kids(our nieces obviously).........goddam, my wife just walked up behind me, scared the **** out of me!!!and every time i clicked up the page to hide what i'm typing, i get 'feet behind head',etc........christ, and again.where's my privacy?????
anyway, my brother-in-law ...aawwe, christ, i give up...
finally,she's gone outside
anyway, my brother-in-law walked in and nearly fell over backwards............doesn't sound so funny now

Doing the splits sideways. Wow!. Did you say you are involved in a band?. You'll have to arrange a show.... and include your wifes party act. Sometimes in the bands I organise, I arrange for the guys to 'clown around' a bit, just to give the audience a giggle as well as good music.

Hi Merlin,
I'm not doing my real job now. Haven't been for ages. So I organise bands (for 3-month contracts) sometimes and also some one-night bands for functions (should be some coming up soon).
I'm thinking of putting together another band this week. I met a pub owner last week and he asked me for a proposal. He's a real stingy though.
I'm not sure I do this for the money (which is small) or 'cos I enjoy supporting the bands with music AND..... also get the chance to jam with them (unpaid of course).
I'm just a P*ss-head Singer really.

Part of me wants to think that Metallica is insane also. Now before you all kill me let me explain. I think that they sometimes go into momentary situations where they slip into insanity. Like the whole law-suit against Napster. Do they really need more money? I think that video may have been another venture into the unknown.

trouble with money is(no offence to metallica) the more you make, the more you wanna make, and if someone, no matter how small, is taking potential money away from you, then you go for the throat. money is a the equal trade value instead of the bartering system. Say you have a cd player and I have a cell phone, you want to trade your cd player for my cell phone but I don't want a cd player then you will have to find someone that wants the cd player and have what I want inorder for the trade to go thru. Money clears this problem because we then can get what ever we want.
