lostdave looks like you've hit the 500 mark already
congrats yeah there are a few bugs. I informed tpearl about one I found. Server seems to be a bit faster at times but not at others hmmm but I guess it's because of the recent transfer let's see if things will smooth out in a week.

hmm it seems like everything is working ok, so the last of the bugs won't wreak havok on users. They might just be annoying. Tpearl rules! :D Server smoothed out. The transition from my point of view was quite smooth. Everytime I changed servers everything just don't work out. Tpearl had this planned out quite well b4 attempting a transition of this caliber.

really I can't tell because it worked out quite well. Even though there are a few bugs here and there. My current webpage is currently 50mb and it's growing. Everything is arranged in folders and in sub folders i know once i do a redesign or move my webpage (not going to be anytime soon, i'm paid for my webspace for 2 years and I love the host. Unlimitied webspace and bandwidth, but it seems like each paying member's webpage get 60kb/s which isn't bad considering that I don't have so much traffic going thru it.)

yes, but some ass hole has broken into college, into the cyber cafe and the IT lab where I reply from...normally, and nicked ALL the computers from there, complete with flat-panel-monitors. they didnt know that those comps will only work if connectcted to the college server "Mars", "Tundra" and "Gandalf" tho
KingXII
10-16-2002, 05:14 PM
lol i wonder if they are gonna return them, when they find out that they don't work
advancedflea
10-16-2002, 05:29 PM
nah, they can sell the parts (processor, cd rom etc) jst not the mother board or HDD
KingXII
10-16-2002, 09:57 PM
oh and the monitors too
::decides to call them up to get one::
lol #1 i wouldn't want to support them #2 they require European plugs, why can't we all be on the same page, american standards rock.
advancedflea
10-17-2002, 06:29 AM
no, they dont need european plugs. they need our "briitish standard" 3-pin safety plugs, brittain may be wet, but were the best contry for standards lol

lol.... You know, just reformatting the harddrives will make them useable. It's only the software that stops them from running. I'm sure that if anyone was really intent on using them though, they would have done this already and are probably pieceing them together into one big super-computer! :D
advancedflea
11-11-2002, 02:22 PM
reformatting a hard drive doesnt make it un-useable. It just blancs it out and re-sets it.
KingXII
11-11-2002, 02:57 PM
then you just add your OS to it.
advancedflea
11-11-2002, 03:25 PM
yeah, or use ur magial reload and restore CD
KingXII
11-11-2002, 03:33 PM
if i ever buy a computer which I never will unless it's a MAC, I would just reformat the SOB the first thing then find my self a copy of Windows that came with the computer, then use the Product key that came with the comp and install it. It's legitimate too because it just the CD that isn't original but I do own a copy of windows.

lol. I have windows ME origonal on this then use the XP up-grade
KingXII
11-11-2002, 03:52 PM
the upgrade ussually messes up the OS
ME was the most unstable OS M$ ever made if you have encountered a $hitload of problems with ME the upgrade could mess up.
advancedflea
11-11-2002, 03:59 PM
nah, I had a pre-relise version of ME. so i was ok
KingXII
11-11-2002, 04:07 PM
lol no ME was doomed from the begining it was supposed to be a hybrid between 16 and 32 bit windows. 32bit windows is NT annd 16 bit is 9x
advancedflea
11-11-2002, 04:12 PM
nah, ME pre-relise was a good O/S
KingXII
11-11-2002, 04:22 PM
nah you just got lucky flea
advancedflea
11-11-2002, 04:27 PM
I'll tell ya what rules.....MAC O/S X!!!!
KingXII
11-11-2002, 04:31 PM
i say 2k is but for graphics of course MAC OS X but it's still a little slow compared to the others but the next version should take care of that and make it speedier.
advancedflea
11-11-2002, 04:42 PM
nah we use 2k at college....pain in the ass oS
KingXII
11-11-2002, 04:47 PM
it's very trouble free never had it crash on me, while XP crashes sometimes but 2k is stable like a rock.
advancedflea
11-12-2002, 04:50 PM
now, you see, this is one of the many points our experiances differ. I hate 2k, it freezes all the time, where as my XP computer has never frozen since i put xp in there
KingXII
11-12-2002, 05:54 PM
wow now that's weird. maybe win2k hates ya.
advancedflea
11-13-2002, 03:47 PM
