Are there ways to convert a cd to midi,and keep it nice tolisten also ?

wow, if that thing if possible (and im hoping that it will be) it'll be nice to here ur cellphone singin like crazy!!!! but if it was possible, will the file increase in size?!?? just wonderin.....

You can use a version of cakewalk to transfer audio into midi notation. I've never used it before, but I do beleive it works on monophonic instruments only, and only one instrument at a time, so I really doubt it work on a CD, but I really don't know.

There are a few progs that can do it but the results have never been good in my attempts

I found a program that was used to transpose off key vocals and also could detect midi notation of a recording... I recently reformatted my hard drive but forgot to save the info - I will see if I can track it down...

there are no good programs that convert the midi completly you should even touch up the file when coverted by a program

cakewalk is good, but only if you can get hold of version 9 or sonar 1 or 2

Cake Walk is a good feature, also try Digital Ear, it works for me a lot as well!
