Finale 2003

Does anyone know if Finale 2003 is any good? I've been thinking about buying it.
Can you make MIDIs with it?

No u van't... it's a very good program to write music not to do music... try cakewalk, sibelius or, more easy, NoteWorthy Composer

I've got Finale 2002 on my pc, but as already said it's better to write music than to make music.

Definitely go with Sibelius. Or Encore even I use both. Depending on what you are doing. Which are you stronger at, sequencing or notation? That makes a difference on what program to use.

Actually, I'm a lot better at notation then sequencing. If I shouldn't get Finale 2003, should I get Sibelius?

Finale was designed for notation and not true sequencing. I use cakewalk, which is a sequencer (well more than just a sequencer) that has notation ability. It is more worth your time.

I have Finlae 2003 and Siblius, I prefer Finale.

I dunno, but i have downloaded a demo of Sibelius, and its Amazing. but it 300 bux ( educational price ). Its worth it. Except i cant aford to buy it :(

FINALE 2003 IS VERY VERY SIMILAR TO FINALE 2002. YOU CAN FOUND IT IN EDONKEY 2002.

finale is easy to use. I like it

Final is a bit easier i think to use cause you can sample your music as you make it and also you can make score sheet with multiple instruments and play them out in the same go a make your midi's out off that. ( you acn also get Final in P2P software ie KaZaA)
