I use an Alesis sr16 which is a great drum machine but sadly not many industrial sounds you could however try using battery which plugs into cubase and load it up wiht your own sounds

Make your own with mousemats!
Works and all.
There's someplace on the net that details all the processes, pressure pads, brains etc. worth a go, very cheap

there's also the possibility of buying a cheap hardware sampler. there are free drum samples and loops on the internet for most sampler formats these days. you can get a used emu emax for $150-$400 through ebay or sonicstate.com. once you have a sampler and some good drum sounds, just connect the sampler to your midi interface on your computer and have a ball. just a thought.

i've used an alesis sr16 for years - I use it every day so much that the buttons have the writing wore off!, I've heard people say good reports about the boss one (think its dr rhythm)
does anyone ever tap out the drums on a keyboard? (on one track?)

You could get an old SDP-8 octopad and learn to play them, it's not rocket science after all, and you can always quantise your own stuff.

I use FruityLoops and a prog called DrumTrax
Actual drum machines that are good are: Boss DR-670 Dr. Rhythm Drum Machine and the DR-700 Dr. Rhythm Drum Machine, and off course the ever so great Alesis SR-1616-Bit Stereo Drum Machine (The Boss DR-770 is the best in my opinion)
