Search on http://www.google.com/ for a MIDI directory with an apache user interface. | Keywords: MIDI directory apache | Many versions feature an A-Z arrangement link at the top.

This site includes, as part of its greater community, a MIDI database that is constantly changing as each member contributes. It is not only a database of MIDI files in their pure and complete form, but ringtones and demos as well. A comprehensive list would be, at best, misleading, as you'd never know what to expect without the context of the post surrounding it.
Listen to Ronny.... use the search feature... be sure you're searching the MIDIBuddy board when you do.... you'll find that even THAT can be misleading at times, but trust me... at least the post surrounding it gives you a clue :)...
