I try to turn midis into sheet music. the program i use does make loads of stupid things and you are never able to put halve notes under quarters and so on. whick program could be better?

that was no real answer, hottie, was it? is my english not good enough or where is the problem? ????
I think you could use a midi editor such as cakewalk, it's prints off what is written. Do you have Cakwalk?

no I don't- but I try to get it. I have spp which is a program that can import midifiles and print the different tracks. but it has many many strange ideas about printing notes which i definitely don't share. Thanks for the tip, i try to get cakewalk and have a go with that one.

I like Noteworthy. It will convert midi's to sheet music. and its pretty cheap. www.ntworthy.com

get codas finale 2003, its the best sequencer/recorder/notator/editor, i've ever used!!!

Well sorry guys but if you realy want to get a program to do this you should use Logic Audio 4.7 or better the notation part of this program comes from the old version of NOTATION which was designed for this purpose. You realy should be using this program it is user freindly and worth every penny works well with Pro-Tools (proffessional recording program, studio standard) this software is the business for what you want. I am currently doing my degree in music production and this is the taught industry standard.
