Do a search for cooledit2000 trial version, that converts mp3 to wav very good and vice versa.

does it turn the mp3 to wav and also monophonic and not stereo?
i want it to do this because digital ear requires monophonic and not stereo for wavs

use SCMPX for WAV <-> MP3. Free, and very good quality.
