ok i`ve done 5 post`s 3 times & still can`t down load & yes i`m right clicking & save as, but it keeps comming up as a htm attactment please help
What are you clicking on ?...is it the actual link to the midi ?
Are you using a Mac ??

yes it is the link to midi, but when the download box pops up
its just an attactment - microsoft html

what am im doing wrong??? i don`t get it i`ve downloaded before
but now nothing, all i get when saving is.....
file type - attactment
save as type - microsoft HTML document 5.0
can any one help me pleaase ?
Strange ....try changing the file type to '.mid' and see what happens

tried that, still nuthing athough at least it loked like a file after that, but its always 26k & won`t play or cakewalk can`t read etc

have same problem - have made more than 5 posts - still can't download a midi - get the message saying i need to make 5 posts before i can down load. Am using normal routine to download - (mac version which is option+ click on link) My download manahger only downloads the HTML page with message on.

That's really weird. I've had no problem with my PC. I'll have to try it out with my old Mac (one of the first G3's) and see what it does...

Do u have to right click when u wanna save a file?
what happens if you left click to open up the web page and take it from there.

Yes Jimmie, you have to right click and save as...... but you aslo have to have 5 VALID posts for it to work!

Can it have anything to do with cookies?? A friend of mine is able to download stuff on his own computer but not on mine, and I know my computer is a bit strange when it comes to allowing ActiveX, cookies and scripting.

I've never had that sort of problem, not being able to download.... I had another account but I haven't been here in so long that I forgot the password and the e-mail address I used, so I can't get it back. Anyway, I had no problems last time, and hopefully none this time.
