What exactly happens when you click the link? Media player launches? You get a page/file not found error? The telephone rings and someone whispers "7 days" in a scratchy voice? Nothing happens?
This info can help other members troubleshoot with you - try to include it in the future ;)

Usually problems that prevent downloading are:

1. media player handling of the file - try right-clicking the download link and selecting "save-file as" - if your media player is launching every time you click the file, the file is already on your machine. It's been downloaded already for your player to play it, and it's hidden in the dark snakepit of a folder called [b]Temporary Internet Files[b] (on NT/2k/XP)... You can always try searching these folders for *.mid

2. Browser Problems - you can always try an alternative browser
Mozilla (for Windows, Linux or MAC) http://www.mozilla.org/
Netscape (based on Mozilla) http://channels.netscape.com/ns/browsers/default.jsp
Opera http://www.opera.com/
Or you can ensure IE (Internet Explorer) is updated to the latest version. Double-check your browser's Internet settings to ensure there is not a clash somewhere.

4. Operating System problems - ensure you have updated all of your system files to the latest versions. Use Windows Update or your OS's auto update feature to get your system up to date.

3. Interference by a download manager - If you're running Download Accelerator Plus (DAP), Flashget, Go!zilla, Netpumper, Netants, or other download faciliators, try disabling them. Sometimes vBulletin doesn't play nice with these programs when it comes to downloading.

If nothing else works, then take a hammer to your machine - or PM a staff member for more help ;)

If you do kinkystac, check out the FAQ section or PM me or one of the other Mods and we'll do our best to help. Welcome to the board. Remember, if you post a request, do a search first and if it hasn't already been requested, put Artist and Song Title in thread header. Thanks! :)
