does anyone knows how to convert from mp3 to .kar?is it possible?

You can download karaoke MP3's from kazaa, blubster etc. You can not convert MP3's to KAR files, but you can convert midis in to KAR using a program like Karakan......Midi's you can get off a certain board not a million miles away from here :) :slap:

I've got about 200 karaoke mp3s...
Some I grabbed off p2p, some I ripped from CG+G CDs.

You should try Blubster, last time I checked on there, there were s lot of karaoke MP3's. Might be worth a look if you want more

If you don't mind PAYING for the karaoke player and karaoke songs, Kool Karaoke Studio is pretty nice.

It uses WMA so you have to have Windows Media Player 7 or better. But I use it to get more current songs and learn them.

The program is 19.99 if I recall correctly and the songs are 1.99 each.

Some are midi most are MP3 format (tune1000 songs are midi I THINK)

The previews of the songs aren't as good as the songs when you download them, (probably lower bandwidth) but the actual songs work well.

if kasaa doesn't work try grokster AND you can have many mp3 karaoke on this one

:confused2 How do you find the .cdg files in any of the p2p... I know that on IRC I can find them as .zip or in directories of \songname\.cdg .mp3 but I hear about all these people being able to find mp3+g's on gnutella and stuff like that... but all I find are the mp3's.. I never find the .cdg :( plz h3lp!!!

kazza is probably the best in finding karaoke mp3's. That's where i got mine basically. I got over 200 songs from there.

yeah.. i found kazaa quite good for karaoke file.. but my problem is i want Alicia Keys - Butterflyz and NEver felt this way MIDI or karaoke files... ideas anyone?
