I've been wanting to get a multi-track digital recorder. Preferrably hard disk based, or just an interface. LIke a MOTU, or a full recorder.

Any thoughts?

check out the Korg D-1600. It is a great machine (and I've used many different ones). It is very easy to use and very intuitive.
