You could try Rogue Music... if I remember correctly they're on W. 30th between 8th
and 9th [don't have the phone number handy... but it's not too hard to find].
They have a pretty cool collection of stuff there... and even if they don't have
what you're looking for... the "floor show" is well worth the time spent heading
over there.
Best of luck with it.

Rogue music's address is
251 W. 30th St 10th floor
between 7th and 8th
(212)629-5073
Ask for Brent
The place to the right of the street entrance of Rogue. Now thats vintage.
They have all sorts of vintage radios and vintage tvs, even some of those
cool vintage busted rca mics.

Other browsing options include the antique malls on 25th or 26th
street between 6th and 7th ave. Used to be one place called "Stuff"
on the 8th floor of one building. Had lotsa old mics plus radios,
tv's etc.
Also used to a terrifying little place on Canal Street over by 6th ...
north side of the street. Cardboard boxes of mics with the connectors
cot off sitting next to orange monochrome monitors.

if you are looking for vintage instruments there is a place in the east
village/ lower east side that has a lot of old keyboards and ta[e echos and
stuff. Their prices seemed high, but ....the stuff was 100% in working
order.
Purple or the guys they share their space with over in Brooklyn have a lot
of old gear kickig arround too.
