For all of you midi fans without a soundcard, you need to check out
Timidity++. You can get an easy to use installation of TiMidity at my
website, along with instructions, a Forum to ask questions, and links
to other quality FREE soundfonts.

http://earth.prohosting.com/saxguru/

You can get it with a small 6mb Soundfont I engineered or download and
use the soundfont of your choice to play or convert .mid to .wav or
..mp3!

Do not forget Synthfont... Much easier to use and includes a built-in SoundFont editor. www.synthfont.com

My firewall tells me this program comes with a trojan horse.

I know a lot of people recommend SynthFont, but I have tried it
several times and it uses too much of my computer resources. (233mhz
64mb Ram) The mid files I play have lots of tracks and use a pretty
full orchestration and they will not play smoothly with SynthFont. I
never have this problem with TiMidity.
