Indirectly, yes. Assuming the MIDI file is paid for, the company that sells the files pays royalities to copyright agencies such as ASCAP and BMI. They keep track of copyrights for the artists.

The MB Cash is used for board features and has nothing to do with purchasing professional MIDI Files.
