I realize the price on these has gone up but that's only $50 less than
I paid for mine less than a year ago.

Do these things hold their value that well?

I wouldn't be pointing this out if the price was asking rather than
"firm".

Maybe he's on the fence about selling it and only wants to sell it if he
can get that price.

Actually I was thinking it would move at that price but it hasn't ... so
maybe the buzz has passed on this piece. They are $2150 now, or so I was
led to believe. So an almost new one for $250 less seemed fair. Dan K
builds them well so there should be no reason to worry about warantee...

Yet since it's not flying out the studio door, sure, I'm open to offers ...

And there has been price increases on both units in those 8 months.
Both units are still the same price, but now MAP @ $2150, the old
prices were $1950 but it's been quite some time since that happened.

I think the buzz is still strong and growing on the MP-2NV. The thing
is just amazing. And $2150 still seems like a bargain for a new one.
A used one really shouldn't cost more than 75% of that, should it?

Well I wasn't slagging you, just the "FIRM" on the price seemed
suprising, given what these used to sell for.

Hell if they are going for $1900 that would put a smile on my
face...just in case I need to sell mine.
