How about that blackout, eh?
That sucked...we got power back at 535 am.
You guys okay out there?
And I noticed on your EBay pic in an auction of yours...you have GRASS and a WOOD DECK where you live now.
Congrats on being able to smell fresh air, man.

Blackout? Did I miss something? ;)

We were back up around 1am. Verizon got DSL going late the next day.

Heck, no worries here. There were some reports we were going to have
rolling blackouts on Friday, but that underwater line between CT and
NY opened up and saved the day.
You're up on the 31st floor, right? That must have been fun. I
lived on the 31st and 21st, respectively, but I don't even think
there's a 31-floor building within 5 miles of me now. Which was the
idea.

Better for the kid(s), methinks.

Yeah, I don't miss the bus fumes and city taxes too much. I do miss
the convenient access to good music and great restaurants.

20 miles for me and that's still to friggin close. I'd shoot for a
couple hundred if I didn't actually have to work.
Bob (Happily living out the blackout they said could never happen
again in one of those nice little pockets where it didn't).
