I wanting to buy a inexpensive drum machine to practice my guitar licks at home.
I don't know anything about them.
What do you connect it to when you want a sound?
Does it connect to my guitar amp for amplification or my stereo system amplifier?
Email me with response.
Thanks,
Terry in Texas

Get a Digitech 50 or 100 instead. It's got a drum machine and lots of
different guitar variables to play around with. All you do is plug in
and the drums come out of your amp along with your guitar. Simple and
easy.

Just about every drum machine will have a line out that you can feed into
your amp, your stereo (although be careful with the kick drums!). Most
probably give headphone jacks too.

But if you have a computer, then you already have a drum machine--lots of
them! There are plenty of programs out there that will give you very decent
drum machine emulations (enough to practice yer licks).

You can also use a midi editor (something simple like Cakewalk Express and
the like) to play back drum patterns found on the net, or just pencil in
your own drum beats...You could find midi patterns for the songs you'd like
to play, solo the drum part (mute the other instruments) and just play
along.

Lots of possibilities out there.

Depending on how inexpensive, look for an Adrenalinn. It's got a basic
drum machine in it, plus the effects are beat-synced. Plugs in just
like an FX box.
