Thanks for this good hint, JB. The VSC does sound very good.
However I think it comes up automatically in GS mode although I want
it to default to GM2. There's a CAL script that's supposed to do this
but I can't yet get it work. Maybe I need to tinker with it some more.

I also wanted to comment on this:

Again I would like to whole heartedly agree. Also don't forget there is a
"Sonar Power" and "Sonar 2 Power" out by Garrigus that look almost the
same; make sure to get the newer one!

Amazon's price is good. I think it's $21, possibly eligible for free
shipping whereas the list price is $30 (US).

My VSc-DXi always comes back as it leaves, if it is GM2 that is how it comes
back.
